Almost Home

Well, I've got the large pieces of furniture that needed moving, moved and the living room mostly cleaned. I love the new arrangement...it seems so much more open and spacious! Should have done this long ago:
I apparently fried my cable modem last night doing exactly what I was warned not to do...plugging the electrical source back in before the coaxial cable was plugged in. Hey, I thought it was! I'd forgotten I'd unplugged it in the first place! So, I'm on dial-up again right now. Have I mentioned how much I love my high-speed internet? While waiting for those photos to load, I went to the bathroom, washed my face and hands...am now considering going to get dressed.

There's still work to be done in the LR...finish cleaning, iron and hang window scarves and get all my misc. decorating things done...I want to create a family photo area, either on a wall or bookshelf, need a new dvd tower, need to decorate for Easter.

Well, I'm all dressed and ready to head out now...agenda item: buy new cable modem, consider getting a spare.
