More Backyard Stuff

I love gardening, can you tell? Since I don't yet have baby pictures (and have already been on the phone leaving a message for my son to either e-mail me some or post some on his website)...

I thought I'd put a couple of pics of my morning garden up. This is the hillside just to the right of my outside steps. I've started naturalizing it, planting daffodils, azaleas, a hosta and a few other bushes.
I have more daffodil bulbs to put in this year, along with grape hyacinth, which should look nice at the bottom of the hill. And I'm sure to find a place for a few more azaleas somewhere up the hill. I've also thought about purchasing a weeping willow midway down the creek bank. I know it's an extravagance, given I'm just a renter, but it would make me happy, I think. I could plant it in my father's honor and simply have faith it flourishes after I've moved on from here.
You can't really appreciate the delicate beauty in the above photos. The hillside is presently blanketed in green and yellow, from the marshmallow plants and there are lovely clusters of pale violets around the rocks. I like the way God gardens.
This is the light of the nearly full moon reflecting in the creek just outside my door. A little fuzzy, I'm afraid. I no longer have a steady enough hand for night photography!

And, of course, the loveliest mutt, Sadie, guards her domain.
Life is good.

No longer a steady hand for night photography??? Hmmm I'm trying to ponder the hidden inference in that statement and you know I just cant find it. Maybe it was an admission of an addiction of sorts... Now you really should reduce the amount of coffee during the day if you're left with the shakes at night! LOL

Actually, I think it's probably some early organic brain dysfunction from all those drugs! ; )
